Images have been posted on NeoGaf forums today showing the new “Red Dot of Death”, caused by an overheating problem.

With Photoshop everywhere now-a-days these images might not be 100% real, but if its true and the new cooling system doesn’t work, it looks like Microsoft will have egg on their face.

Microsoft is to offer a stand alone 250GB hard-drive for the Xbox 360 on April 16 in the UK.

The hardware comes with a transfer cable for users to move data from one hard-drive to another, and will be priced at £79.99..

According to Eurogamer Microsoft is increasing the price of the Xbox 360 Arcade model in the UK and removing the five free XBLA games. Apparently the Arcade bundle will now cost £159.99 an increase of £30 from it’s current price of £129.99. (more…)
