Activision today released patch 1.09 for Modern Warfare 2 on the PS3, the patch is set to fix the care package glitch that has arisen.

Robert Bowling tweeted the info earlier:

“Another day, another update. Sony is pushing out the rest of the Care Package fix to #MW2 PS3 players today. Hooray! EU first / NA later.”

The latest patch will fix issues including the javelin fix, care package glitch fix, and addresses areas where players could get into geo. Like rocks on Afghan.

The patch comes in at 15MB and we are waiting to see the release of it on the xbox360.
