Report: American Company Purchases Project MyWorld

Project: MyWorld

It looks like administrator Begbies Traynor has found a buyer for Project MyWorld, which formally belonged to the bankrupt studio Realtime Worlds.

Develop reports that the property has been purchased by an anonymous American company, with no word on how the purchase will affect the 23 developers currently working on the game. One of the more optimistic scenarios has the American company temporarily hiring the Dundee-based staff in order to finish the project, but they may also opt to purchase the build and the IP and finish it themselves.

APB remains up for purchase, though interest in the sandbox MMO has reportedly been weaker than it was for Project MyWorld. According to numbers released by Begbies Traynor, appoximately 130,000 registered users play the game an average of four hours per day.

While Rose didn’t exactly say Uncharted 3, Nathan Drake voice actor Nolan North has already said a third in the AAA Naughty Dog series is “common sense”.

Uncharted 2 is among one of the best critically rated games this generation.

Announce it soon, please?

Thanks, Gekidami.

Driver: San Francisco shots are “frantastic”

driver san fran

Give us a break on the headline. It’s the most painfully dull slow news day ever.

Ubisoft’s released three new screens of Driver: San Francisco. See them on Gamersyde.

The game was due out this holiday season for PS3, 360, PC and Mac – with a separate Wii version also due at the same time – but was delayed by Ubisoft until 2011 recently.

We went to see the crime-race reboot in Newcastle before E3 this year; you can see his impressions here, an interview with Reflections co-founder Martin Edmunson here and more assets that you know what to do with here.
