Activision Ten Year Deal With Bungie

Wow Activision work fast, with them recently causing Infinty Ward to split-up, Activision have now signed a ten year multiplatform deal with Bungie.

So what can we expect from the new partnership, Halo on PS3? probably not, expensive new Halo map packs – probably yes.

With Activision getting a bad rap at the moment it seems a surprise that anyone would want to go into business with them, although the rights Activision have doesn’t seem to interfere with Bungie’s plans.

Under the terms of the agreement, Activision will have exclusive, worldwide rights to publish and distribute all future Bungie games based on the new intellectual property on multiple platforms and devices.

Bungie remains an independent company and will continue to own their intellectual property. Additional terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

We will have to wait and see what happens between the two companies and what Bungie next games will be on multiplatform.
